Try it on Yams

Mary Schrier, Cumberland, Iowa

I recently bought a jar of your Corn Cob Sweetened Spread after I sampled some ham that was cooked in it.  I thought I would tell you that I was baking a meatloaf in the oven and as a side dish I opened a can of Bruces yams.  I spread several spoons of the corn cob spread over the yams and covered them with foil.  They baked along with the meatloaf and were delicious!  I would recommend it's use in place of brown sugar in certain instances.  I'm going to try it next on cooked carrots.

Try it on Popcorn

Marilyn Westropp, Largo, FL

I bought a jar of Krogh Family Farms Sweetened Spread while visiting Des Moines, Iowa.  I melt my spread in a saucepan.  Allow it to cool, then pour over freshly made popcorn.  It tastes better than kettle corn!  Another option is to use lemon pepper instead of salt.

Try it on Turkey

Anonymous Customer

I injected the Corn Cob Syrup product into a turkey with a turkey baster for a family dinner. I injected about an ounce per quarter of the syrup into the turkey and it came out perfectly moist. I would highly suggest this product for any type of marinade. I am excited to try the syrup on other types of meat soon!
